Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RackMap mobile app ("the App"), operated by Costley Group Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

About RackMap

RackMap is a community-powered platform that helps cyclists find and share bike rack locations across the UK. Rack information is contributed by users and reviewed before appearing publicly in the App.

User conduct

You agree to use the App responsibly and not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or inaccurate rack information;
• Upload content that is offensive, unlawful, or infringes on others' rights;
• Attempt to disrupt, abuse, or gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems;
• Use the App for any purpose other than its intended community cycling use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

User-submitted content

When you submit rack locations, photos, or other content ("User Content"), you retain ownership of it, but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content within the App for the purpose of operating the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you upload, and that it does not infringe on the rights of others.

We may review, moderate, or remove User Content at our discretion, including rack submissions that are inaccurate, inappropriate, or violate these Terms.

Subscriptions

RackMap offers an optional paid subscription ("RackMapper") which unlocks additional features such as unlimited favourites, detailed rack stats, photo uploads, and a verified contributor badge. Subscriptions are billed at £3.99 per month or £40 per year, and are processed securely via Stripe.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Availability of the service

We aim to keep the App available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or withdraw the App or any part of it, temporarily or permanently, at any time and without liability, including where continued operation is no longer commercially viable.

Disclaimer

Rack locations and details are community-submitted and provided for guidance only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or safety of any rack listed in the App. Use of the App and reliance on any information within it is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Costley Group Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the App.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
